Welcome to Jen Owen School of Motoring!
Jen Owen is a fully independent female driving instructor, DSA approved, a 45yr old, born and bred in Paisley.
Driving is a skill for life, and as a fully qualified and accredited female driving instructor, Jen provides her pupils with an effective course of instruction delivered in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to ensure success in their driving test.
Lessons are offered in 1 hour slots at competitive rates and can include:
Night driving
Winter driving
Pass Plus
Refresher Courses for older drivers
Lesson Options:
1 hour lesson: £35
Gift vouchers are available on request
All lessons are stress-free and are available in the Renfrewshire area and Southside of Glasgow areas, though if you live outside these areas and wish to learn with Jen, please get in touch.

Monday to Thursday 7:45am till 6.15pm
Friday 7:45am till 2pm
I don’t work weekends...
Also, should you require to cancel a lesson, please note I have a 24hr cancellation policy, full charge will be applicable.

So check out the list below - I'll keep adding to it so that you can find everything you need to know in one place so if you have any suggestions for sites, drop me a line and I'll add them on.
The Highway Code - tons more detail than in the old book
Practice your driving theory test - Practice the official driving theory test from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA)
Book your practical driving test online - very handy. You'll need to have passed your theory test. You can book online between 6am and 11:40pm
Smart Learners - a really useful one-stop information centre all about learning to drive.
Driving and motorcycle tests, and learning to drive - government site with everything you need to know related to learning to drive.
Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) - Registers of drivers and vehicles in Great Britain. This information helps us improve road safety, reduce vehicle related crime, support environmental initiatives and limit vehicle tax evasion.
