Covid-19 Policy

The health and safety of my pupils is paramount. As I restart my lessons, I am introducing new measures for before, during and after your driving lesson.

Should you display any COVID-19 symptoms prior to your lesson or have been in contact with someone who has displayed the COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days, please contact me immediately as your lesson will not take place and will be rescheduled.

If you or anyone in your household have travelled abroad within the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone that has been abroad within the last 14 days please inform me ASAP. (NB. Some countries are exempt ) Also, If you or anyone in your household are in "isolation" or have been told by track and trace to self isolate then please do NOT attend your lesson and contact me immediately.

Please wear clothing that is suitable and covers as much of your arms and legs as possible. Please do not bring any unnecessary personal items to your lesson (such as your mobile phone or food and drink).

Please wash your hands (for at least 20 seconds) immediately before leaving for your lesson.

I recommend that you wear your own disposable mask for your driving lesson. Should you forget I will be able to provide you with one. When wearing a face covering or mask, make sure it covers your face from the bridge of your nose down to your chin.

My car will be kept clean and I will ensure it has been sanitised prior to starting every lesson with antibacterial wipes.

At the beginning of each lesson I will also use my digital thermometer ( non touch ) to ensure you do not have a temperature... should a high temperature be highlighted, your lesson will be cancelled and appropriate medical advice followed. Hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes will also be available throughout your lesson.

Should either of us develop COVID-19 symptoms, the driving lesson will end as soon as possible and you will return home.

If you need to cancel your lesson, at short notice, due to COVID-19 symptoms please inform me as soon as possible.

Please note a 24-hour cancellation policy still applies.
